Application procedure

Applications must be sent through the online application platform. Documents cannot be sent by post or email. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Application

To access the online application, click on "Login" at the top of this page and create an account if this is your first connection.

Select "All campaigns" then "Application EMJM SpaceMed".

If you wish to complete an existing application that has not yet been submitted, select "Existing application".

Complete the forms, in English, and provide all required documents. Your online application must be submitted before the call deadline.

After submission, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement by e-mail (check your spam box if this is not the case).

Examination of the files: 1 March to mid-April 2024

Final selection of applicants (admission letter): mid-April 2024

Necessary documents for the application

All documents must be in English.

Only certified translations will be accepted. All documents translated to English must come with a copy of the original document.

During the application process, you will have to submit the following information and documents:

  • CV

The Europass CV is highly recommended https://europa.eu/europass/en

  • Original academic degree(s)

  • Proof of English language proficiency

Any certified evidence of a CEFR level of a least B2 including TOEFL, IETLS, TOEIC and Cambridge Exams. Nationals from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Australia, New-Zealand, and the English-speaking part of Canada or students proving that they have received their higher education in English will be exempted.

  • Two letters of recommendation

At least one from an official of the faculty from which the diploma was obtained or will be obtained before the start of the programme;

The second one from an employer, internship supervisor, or academic supervisor

  • Relevant motivational statement

A short (less than 1 minute) video (MP4) in English explaining why the applicant would be a good candidate for SpaceMed, including at least personal and academic motivation and relevant skills and abilities.

  • Copy of a valid ID document

  • Proof of residency

To be considered valid proof of residence, your document must contain:

       - your full name

       - your exact address (street name, city, country).

       - date of issue

The document must have been issued within the 12 months preceding the submission deadline.

As proof of residence, you can provide a utility bill, for example, or a letter from your employer/university attesting to your mailing address. The document must meet the above requirements (name, mailing address, date). If you do not have such a document, you can ask your local council to provide you with a certificate/letter of residence containing all the above information.

Please note that the following documents are not accepted: Identity documents (student card, national identity card, passport, driving license, etc.) or "work certificates" from the company you work for. We need your current home address, not your work address.

  • Where appropriate, proof of additional language skills
